Forensic Sciences

Education and Training in Forensic Science is necessary to fill the gap among graduates from different discipline who wish to pursue their career as forensic sciences by providing environment where all can understand each other to strengthen the current criminal justice system. There must be opportunities to become an expert and study forensic science at undergraduate and postgraduate level. There are two main groups who works in forensic science are forensic science practitioners including criminalistics, biologists, pathologist, toxicologists and many other who had typically advanced degrees and the other group includes crime scene investigators who don’t have advance degree. Forensic Scientists required continuing education and training for developing one’s expertise and skills in the field. The users of forensic science analysis also need educations specially the personals in law community for better scientific analysis.Department of Forensic Sciences of IMBB, UOL was established in September, 2013currently, we are running MPhil Forensic Sciences degree program.
